New Year’s Day, 2009 Japan
Most of the mountains are covered in thick bamboo forests like the one behind the house in this photograph. We hiked up a service track following a single, barely overhead power line until we came to a clearing near the top, watched the snow storms roll in and enjoyed the silence.

Stephen, thanks for stopping by. It is good to be home. I love to travel but hate eating out. I always I absolutely love your street photos. I was inspired by your images on my trip but I don’t think they are so good. When I process them I will put them up.
